About the Archives
The Archives and Rare Books Collection contain 380 linear feet of manuscripts-- primarily on topics related to institutional history-- as well as 1,476 "rare" books. Most of these monographs are older and have been deemed too fragile to circulate. The collection also contains copies of the faculty's published books. While this collection is located in the closed stacks area of the Carrie Rich Building, visitors are welcome to work with the materials in the Archival Reading Room on the third floor of Wiggins Memorial Library (room 309).
The Archive and Rare Books Collection is open for research by appointment only, Monday through Friday, 9-5. For an appointment, please contact Holley Long (long@campbell.edu | 910-814-5773).
