Campbell University Library Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is available to Campbell faculty, staff and students as an aid to research and study. Resources not owned by the University Libraries can be borrowed from other libraries. Extended campus users please use this link for document delivery and interlibrary loan services.

• Do not request materials owned by Campbell which are in use.
• Articles usually arrive in 3-5 days. Books usually arrive within 5-7 days.
• Students are charged $1.00 per article per photocopies.
• There is no charge for book requests.
• Notification is made by phone or e-mail when the item arrives.
• Pick up is in the Reference Department.
• Items not picked up in 14 days are charged to students account.
• Refer questions to the reference librarians by sending e-mail to reference@campbell.edu, calling (910) 893-1467, or chatting with them.
• Overdue fines for late items are $1.00 per item per day.

Copyright Restrictions:

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purposes other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
