Title: Heart Rate Recovery and the Role of Cardiovascular Fitness in Length of Recovery Time

It has been suggested that heart rate recovery (HRR) is predictive of fitness, health, and risk of mortality. The purpose of this study was to assess the role of cardiovascular fitness and psychological factors in HRR after submaximal exercise. Results showed that psychological factors affected HRR more than fitness levels.
