Fall 2025 Schedule

Led by Dr. Sherry Truffin, Dr. Rachel Nelson, & Jennifer Seagraves

Leave the final session with tangible changes that you can implement in your syllabus.

Hallmarks Guiding Questions

Join your colleagues in reading, The Art of Gathering: How we meet and why it matters by Priya Parker.

“Gatherings play a huge role in our lives. The comings together of friends, family, and co-workers have the potential to change the way we connect, the way we understand ourselves and one another, and the way we live. Yet, too often, we're on autopilot using the same tired formats. We forget to plan for, or fail to even consider, the human connection at the center of it all — the real magic behind a successful group event.”

Thanks to a Hallmarks mini-grant, the first 15 sign ups will receive a free copy of the book!

Lead a Workshop

Leading a workshop is a fantastic opportunity to share your interests, passions, and research with your fellow faculty and staff members. Sharing of ideas and information facilitates collaboration and learning among our community and can empower our faculty with new skills.

Please reach out to Jennifer Seagraves, Instructional Pedagogy and Curriculum Materials Librarian, to discuss your workshop topic and goals, and we will help with the rest.

Please note that we strive to have workshops that are open and inclusive to all faculty regardless of subject area, faculty status, or department.
